ANA

Ana is a shortened reference to anorexia. There are arguments being made as to weather anorexia is a state of mind or an eating disorder. What is known is that anorexia leads to many health problems such as headaches, malnutrition, and much more. There are pro-ana websites that are meant to support people suffering from anorexia. These sites contain blogs, applications to join, pictures, suicide support, news, and other websites that leads to more pro-ana websites. Each site visited has many unique qualities as well as some of the same constants. All the sites have many posts containing ideas of suicide and depression. Another common ground found is that many of the people that have posts seem to know that they are hurting themselves and their loved once, but they just can't seem to have enough will power to stop their eating disorder. It almost seems like many people join these sites in hopes of finding a rational or justification for their addiction to the eating disorder. The uniqueness in the websites are that some websites actually admit that anorexia is not a healthy choice, while the other promote anorexia to a very extreme point. These websites can be used as a way for people suffering from an eating disorder to express themselves to a world that would understand what their going through and also have had the experience that they are facing. I believe that if done correctly the websites could be of great help. I don't think the websites need to be brought down i just believe that they need to concentrate more on getting the victims of ana on the right path instead of trying to justify that what their doing isn't unhealthy.
I found many clips on you tube that are pro-ana as well as once that are trying to get the victims of anorexia on the right path. I do not think that the pro-ana clips should be allowed to be posted, i think that the people who post these clips are selfish and ignorant of the realities of anorexia. The clips don't help the victims of anorexia express themselves to others, or get input from other who have gone through the experiences. I think the promotion of anorexia is very serious and should not be tolerated since anorexia could lead to many health problems and even death in some extreme cases.

I think you kind of contradict yourself a bit in this blog. In the beginning you say pro ana websites are helpful, then in the end you say some are harmful. You also mention that the websites that stay should be there to help people, how would you make a pro ana more helpful, what are some examples and ideas. In the last paragraph you are against pro ana clips, how are these different from pro ana websites, explain to the reader because not everyone has watched these clips
